Captain Car Wash is owned and operated by former Marine Corps and Army veterans that have served our country with distinguished honor over multiple combat & humanitarian aid deployments.
Captain’s Chairman & CEO, Derek Evans, is a United States Marine Corps combat veteran who served multiple deployments in support of the war against terror from 2002-2006. Captain’s COO, Kevin Kottwitz, is a medically retired Army veteran. Mr. Kottwitz has spent the last 15 years of post-Army service life dedicated to all facets of the car washing industry. Mr. Evans has spent the last 15 years of his post Marine Corps life as a venture capital entrepreneur with investments in multiple industries. Together, they have converged skill sets and set their sights on establishing Captain Car Wash as the “go to” car wash brand preferred by customers everywhere.
The Captain brand empowers customers to be the responsible Captains their vehicles deserve, while honoring all branches of service universally- be it Police, Fire, EMS, Military, Peace Corps… The Captain brand salutes service and strives to personify the virtues of sense of duty and selfless service into our daily business.
The Captain Mission is to become a household national consumer retail service brand that customers know, trust, and continue to believe in. Our promise is to deliver the highest level of customer service and the highest quality car wash while building better communities.
